Today ended the Desafío Ruta 40, a preparation test for the next Dakar Rally in which Carlos Sainz (Ford) has participated for the first time with his new co-driver, Dani Oliveras. In today’s stage they again suffered a small problem, but managed to complete the test, thus fulfilling the main objective: to prepare for the Dakar, ride with Dani and add kilometers of experience.
Carlos Sainz: “Today we had another small problem, but in the end it was a positive rally. I’m happy to have been able to ride with Dani and put in the miles, which was the goal. Now we have to draw conclusions and try to prepare as well as possible for Morocco and the tests we have before and continue to make progress for the Dakar”.
