Carlos Sainz is the new leader of the Morocco Rally after the third stage, held today in Zagora. Alongside his co-driver David Oliveras (Ford Raptor), he finished the day in second place, a result that puts him at the top of the overall standings with two stages remaining in the rally.
Carlos Sainz: “It was a great day on today’s stage in Morocco. We finished second and are now the overall leaders. It was a long stage, with all kinds of terrain and challenging navigation. We lost a little time at one point, but the rest went well. There are two days left, and tomorrow will be crucial, with the longest special stage of the rally. We’re keeping at it!”
