The Dakar Rally reaches its final stretch with today’s eleventh stage, in which Carlos Sainz and Lucas Cruz (Ford Raptor) have finished in third position of the day. The victory went to their teammate, Mattias Ekström.
Carlos Sainz: “Mattias caught me on the rocks. He was going like crazy; I pulled away and got into his rhythm, and then I was in his dust the whole time. It was just rocks and dust”.

If the differences were not yet very important at the head of the race, there is still a chance to change things in such a varied itinerary. The fast tracks will give way to others that are much more winding and narrower. The riders will also have to venture into rivers where all sorts of surprises are to be expected, and the last dunes should not be underestimated. In short, it is still possible to make a big impact on the table, if you have all the qualities.
