Punctures once again played a decisive role in the development of the day.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Carlos Sainz and Lucas Cruz, in the Ford Raptor, finished the day in sixteenth position after suffering two punctures on the special stage. These setbacks caused them to lose 11 minutes and 42 seconds to the race leader, a manageable time loss considering the difficulties they had to face.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Carlos Sainz:<\/strong> <em>&#8220;Today has been a stage that, as we had already been warned, has again been a special stage with many stones. Although we have been very cautious, we have punctured twice and, logically, we had to stop both times. That cost us time and we also lost a little more time at a particular point. It didn&#8217;t go quite right. With all this, tomorrow we will start further back than expected, which puts us a bit behind what we wanted, but anyway, there is still a long race and we are not so far back&#8221;.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tomorrow&#8217;s stage<br \/>\n<\/strong>ALULA &gt; ALULA<br \/>\nLiaison &gt; 314 km &#8211; Special &gt; 422 km<\/p>\n<p>You will travel along sandy tracks. Nature&#8217;s creativity and the passing of the centuries have worked wonders to sculpt unlikely rock formations&#8230; which also make navigation tricky.
